They are surviving on one small meal a day. The baby of the family is constantly ill due to unsafe water. At just 7 years old, Khaled—the second youngest—wakes up at 6 AM every morning to collect wood to sell, hoping to buy enough flour to feed his family. This is not childhood. This is survival.
